The people at Topvisor asked me to test out their SEO software, and over the past couple of weeks I’ve played around with it a bit. The software will track keyword ranking, perform site technical audits, and probably other tasks that I haven’t been able to figure out yet. I use Moz Pro from time to time, and I find Topvisor to be a comparable product, with a pricing structure that will probably be more attractive to smaller agencies or individual SEO practitioners.
The benefit over other similar services is that you don’t need to subscribe to a monthly plan. You can use all of the software functionality “ala cart,” and just pay per process.
If you do want to save some money though, their lower end plans are a lot less than you would pay elsewhere. Another benefit is that you aren’t limited to the number of sites you track.
The software has all the basic functionality I utilize when I periodically subscribe to Moz Pro.
Set up projects by website URL and see changes at a glance.
Track keyword ranking along with changes. You can also track changes in traffic coming into your website if you opt to integrate with Google Analytics (which I did not).
There’s this widget thing that looks pretty cool, but I couldn’t working properly. Yes there are some problems, but I assume it’s still in beta, so will probably be worked out. Issues like, sometimes the wrong language is displayed.
More in the way of help pages on the site, but I was provided with some offline instructions that helped a lot. Again, I assume that is something that will be added soon.
