Staying Logged Into Multiple Twitter Accounts
It’s common to have multiple Twitter accounts, but besides the Twitter iPhone app, it’s difficult to use them on the Twitter Website. Sure, you can sign up for services, like TweetDeck and Hootsuite, but what if you are just a casual user rather than a hardcore social media marketer?
The best approach that I have found has two prongs:
- Use Google Chrome as your browser, and
- Install the Swap my Cookies Add On
If you are using the Twitter Website with Internet Explorer or Firefox, it is likely that you have had, or will have a problem with script errors that will hang your browser when trying to us the “Tweet To” box. Not a problem with Google Chrome.
The Swap my Cookies Add on to chrome allows you to easily switch between different “profiles” which stay logged in to your various Twitter accounts. This not only works for Twitter, but for a variety of other email or social networking sites that you may have multiple accounts on.
