iGoogle Replacement – Netvibes
If you are an iGoogle user, one of the many things you’ve been nagged about lately is the discontinuation of iGoogle itself. Google cites the erosion of the product over time, and modern apps running on platforms like Chrome and Android being better alternatives. I don’t know about that, but I do know I will need to switch my homepage on my desktop computer before November 1st.
The closest alternative I’ve found so far is Netvibes. I can plop in my email, calendar, blog and twitter feeds, and the layout is much like iGoogle. I might not even miss it.
