Unfortunately, if you are using Webmaster Tools through your Google account, the sitemaps you create through the 1&1 interface won't automatically show up there. The 1&1 interface will create the sitemap for you, and after that you need to add it and verify it just as you normally would through the Google interface.

If you are already using Webmaster Tools through your Google Account, and have a good sitemap generator, you probably don't need the 1&1 feature, as it gives you minimal control and information compared to Webmaster tools on Google.com. It's more for people who aren't using the Google interface and otherwise wouldn't create a Google sitemap.

I had a sitemap generated by 1&1 for one of my sites some four or five days ago. In my Google webmaster tools, it still says I don't have a sitemap. Do you know how long does it take for the sitemap to show as received?

Thank you in advance for your help
